Recycling for Rabbits

MCRS continues to collect recyclables to help raise money to support our mission of helping rabbits find their forever homes. Collectible items include electronic-related goods as well as consumer packaging. We collect the following saved items and turn them in for cash. You help the environment and the bunnies all at the same time!

Electronic-related Items:

• Empty printer cartridges
• Rechargeable batteries
• Cell phones or other hand-held electronics

Product Wrappers and Packaging:

• Bear Naked Granola bags
• Kashi bags, boxes, wrappers (if it says Kashi, we can recycle it)
• Candy wrappers for Mars/Wrigleys brand (includes Skittles, Mars, M&M, Snickers, Milky Way, 3 Musketeers, Starburst, Twix, Dove and others)
• Juice pouches such as Capri Sun and Kool Aid (no boxes. Please cut a slit in the bottom of the pouch and rinse out)
• Frito Lay Chip bags
• Cliff and Odwalla brand Energy Bar wrappers

Any of these recyclables may be dropped off during our Hoppy Hour events at Animal Humane Society in Golden Valley or at our South Saint Paul location during any public events.
